I'd love to say I am feeling rough today as I had a fab night last night but alas it appears I'm a bit ill. Yesterday was actually a very civilised day: the parents came over, we went to IKEA and had a nice meal. Dad also picked up his B'day pressie from me, mum and my sis - a Wii.I had planned to watch Dave play in his quartet today but doesn't look like that one is gonna happen!

Another stressful week finished! Hurrah! Once again have been at alot of meetings which are keeping me out and about. Also had a leaving do on Friday night but I left at a reasonable time to go and see Dave's band play - twas a good gig even tho I missed the beginning. This weekend will hopefully be one of relaxation and pampering. Had my hair done today (bright red highlights and a trim) and plan to chill this evening. I have Wimbledon on in the background as the only thing better that watching a Brit win is a Scottish Brit winning! :o)

Had a strange weekend. Went to a Filipino Festival in Glasgow with the family and also camped outside a church in the rain in solidarity with Asylum Seekers for Refugee Week. Now it's back to real life and plans for tonight include:

Reading a 30 page paper for a meeting tomorrow
Cleaning out the hamster cage
Watering my orchids
Getting some clothes washing done
Redesign a whisky tasting poster

If I can get all that finished then I can allow myself to play some more Guitar Hero III...

Lord I'm tired. I've been in meetings all week and have heaps of work waiting for me on my desk at work. The real pain is that I'm out all day tomorrow at another meeting so my pile is getting higher. I can't wait till my boss's post is filled!

I had a good weekend tho, before work took over my life. Girly cocktail night was fun but not crazy drunken, I even tried absinthe for the first time. On Saturday night Dave had a gig at the opening of an art exhibition and the band came over to ours afterwards for drinks. Then Sunday we went to Ken and Lizzie's to hear about their honeymoon and see the photos.
